The Brief
The brief centred on creating a branch environment that balances back-of-house operational requirements with a welcoming, customer-focused front-of-house experience, aligning the physical space with the Society’s future ambition. A key objective was the relocation of the branch from its original, low-visibility site to a more prominent position within the town, strengthening local presence and accessibility. The design reimagines the traditional banking hall, addressing changes in user behaviour and advances in technology to deliver a modern, efficient, and intuitive branch experience that supports both customers and staff.
The Concept
Responding to changing customer behaviours within the financial sector, the concept reimagines the physical branch as a modern, welcoming environment that strengthens member relationships while meeting contemporary expectations. The design delivers a clean, confident, and forward-looking aesthetic, grounded in authenticity and care. Creating spaces that feel fresh yet familiar, and continue to reflect the trust and warmth members rely on.
